Weiss Construction in Novi, MI is hiring Project Controls Engineers responsible for coordinating, developing, and maintaining forecasting reports for all construction projects.

  • He or she leads corporate forecasting and reporting processes.
  • Performs detailed project cost and revenue analysis and project portfolio data analytics, review blueprint/construction drawings, performs take-offs.
  • Prepares and sends requests for information (RFI), provides Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling analysis and support, performs field audits, utilizes Microsoft Project Management Software (MSP), Primavera (P6) and Procore to create schedules.
  • Distribute resources, manage costs, develops, tracks and maintains project budgets and analyzes cost reports and variance analysis from Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions.
  • All other duties assigned
Project Controls Engineer
Requirements
  • At a minimum, the position requires a Master’s Degree in Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • 3 years of progressively responsible construction project engineering experience, including reviewing blueprint/construction drawings, performing take-offs, issuing RFIs, utilizing ERP systems and using project management software.
  • Stated experience must include 2 years performing construction forecast analysis. Employers also accepts a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field and 2 additional years of progressively responsible in construction project engineering.
